Charity Festival

At Juliusz Słowacki High School No. VII in Warsaw, a charity festival took place, organized by Milena Drab-Grotowska and Barbara Miklaszewska, with the support of Stella Marczuk.

The purpose of the festival was to raise funds for the rehabilitation of Aleksander Gawarecki, a
young football player courageously fighting leukemia. At the same time, the event paid tribute to
the memory of Kornel Kłoda – a student of the school, for whom 4 million PLN was raised in 2024
to cover his cancer treatment. A particularly moving part of the program were the football matches
organized in honor of two boys whose illness interrupted their path toward achieving their sporting
dreams.

This year’s edition continued that story of solidarity and unwavering support.

The atmosphere of the event was extraordinary: concerts by renowned artists, diverse attractions and hundreds of participants who came not only to enjoy themselves but also to support a noble cause. Parents, students, and teachers stood together as one team – all playing towards the same goal!
